The Federal Security Service (FSB) detained an agent of the Ukrainian special services Ignat Kuzin, who mined a car, after which Lieutenant-General Yaroslav Moskalik was killed. This is reported by the DSP of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

"As a result of urgent measures, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation detained an agent of the Ukrainian special services, Kuzin Ignat, born in 1983, who has a residence permit for Ukraine, a Volkswagen Golf car bomb in the city of Balashikha, Moscow region, as a result of which the deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces was killed Lieutenant-General Yaroslav Moskalik of Russia, born in 1966,"the report said, quoted by RIA Novosti.

It is noted that Kuzin bought a car in which he installed an improvised explosive device. He took the components for the IED from a cache arranged by the special services of Ukraine in the Moscow region. On April 25, when the Muscovite left the entrance, the device was remotely activated from the territory of Ukraine.

The detainee was taken to The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to conduct investigative actions within the framework of a criminal case under part 2 of Article 205 (terrorist act), part 1 of Article 222.1 (illegal storage of explosives or explosive devices) of the Criminal Code of Russia, the FSB added.
