US Senator Rand Paul, three months after the election of Donald Trump, admitted that he supports Donald Trump, noting that he had been wrong earlier. This is reported by Fox News channel.

The senator, known for his criticism of the Joe Biden administration, said he was "shocked by the Trump government."

"Some people may have noticed that I resisted the enthusiastic support of Donald Trump during the election. But now I am amazed by the Trump cabinet (many of whom I would choose). I like his message to the Ukrainian warmongers along with his DOGE initiative. I was wrong to withdraw my support. So today, admittedly a little late, I enthusiastically support Donald Trump! (Some will say too little and too late, but, you know, it's sincere, it's there.)"— X Paul wrote from his social network account, quoted by Yahoo portal.

One should not expect that this approval will be servile, he stressed.

"I still think tariffs are a terrible idea, but Dios Mio, what courage, what perseverance. Let's go @realDonaldTrump, let's go!" — added Paul.

As EADaily reported, during the Joe Biden administration, the White House spent millions of dollars on "opinion leaders" in Ukraine. This was stated by Senator Rand Paul.

In addition, according to the senator, the United States financed the trip of Ukrainian designers to the Fashion Week in Paris.
