Deputy Zhiguli Dairabaev was relieved of the post of deputy chairman of the Auyl parliamentary party (Selo). This was reported by KazTAG with reference to the party press service.

According to the published information, the presidium of the political council of the Auyl party considered the violation of the charter by the Aktobe branch, reprimanding the head of the branch, and voted to dismiss Zhiguli Dairabayev from the post of deputy chairman.

"Two issues were considered on the agenda. [...] The second question concerned the dismissal of the deputy chairman of the party Zhiguli Dayrabayev. The members of the presidium unanimously voted for this decision," the statement said following the results of the party meeting.

As it turned out, the Aktobe regional branch of the party illegally redistributed the mandate of a deputy of the regional maslikhat (local legislative assembly).

KazTAG reminds that on April 28, 2023, it became known that three sons of a member of the Auyl party, Zhiguli Dairabayev, were brought to criminal responsibility for fraud at different times. The criminal case initiated against one of the sons of the deputy was terminated on non-rehabilitating grounds. In other words, as the agency writes, all three sons of the deputy turned out to be scammers as a result.

On May 16, 2023, Dairabayev and his sons were accused of keeping a man in slavery. On June 8, 2023, the man who accused the deputy of illegally buying a house won the trial in this case.

A few days earlier, Zhiguli Dairabayev demanded to change the Russian names of villages in the North Kazakhstan region to Kazakh.

"Shame! 34 years of independence of Kazakhstan. We live in the Kazakh state. We have no grudge against anyone. We are a nation. The state-forming nation. Why don't we translate the names? Who's stopping you? Where are you looking? The soul hurts when you look at it," the deputy said, addressing colleagues.

Zhiguli Dairabayev ran for President of Kazakhstan in the November 2022 elections.
