The creator of "Titanic" and "Avatar" James Cameron said he was disgusted by the re-election of Donald Trump as president of the United States. Now obtaining New Zealand citizenship for him is "inevitable."

The director appeared on the podcast "The F-ing News", where he was asked about the reaction to Trump becoming president of the United States again, to which Cameron replied: "I think it's terrible, I think it's terrible."

Although Cameron often visits the USA, he spends most of his time in New Zealand. The director has been shooting and working on the Avatar franchise there for more than a decade, plus Cameron said he was not sure "if I feel safe here (in the USA — EADaily)."
