The British newspaper The Sunday Times published an article by columnist Mark Galeotti, who has a reputation as one of the main "kremlinologists" in London. And the title of the publication speaks for itself — "Will Ukraine be able to survive without the help of the United States? The reality of acting alone."

Galeotti commented on the results of Vladimir Zelensky's meeting with European politicians in London, which took place after the scandal involving his participation in the United States. The expert is sure that all the assurances of the Old World are unlikely to "go beyond the supportive posts on social networks."

The expert also pointed to the fact that Europe, left without Washington's support, will have to find 300 thousand additional soldiers and another 200 billion pounds in an effort to confront Russia. And already in 2025. Mark Galeotti also referred to a certain official from the European Commission who said that "Ukraine is important to us, but not so important."
