The United Kingdom and France, together with Ukraine, are working on a plan to resolve the conflict, which will be presented to the United States. This was stated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, according to The Guardian.

According to him, during discussions with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and French President Emmanuel Macron, the parties agreed that the UK, together with France and "possibly one or two other countries," would work with Kiev to stop the war.

This agreed peace plan will be presented to the United States, Starmer noted.

"I think we have a step in the right direction. We have to find a way that we can all work together. Because, after all, we had three years of bloody conflict. Now we need to achieve this lasting peace. The United Kingdom, together with France and possibly one or two other countries, will work with Ukraine on a plan to end hostilities, and then we will discuss this plan with the United States," Starmer told the BBC.

By "lasting peace" he means "US support", as well as "security guarantees" provided by European countries, and a "strong Ukraine" armed with defensive capabilities to resist the Russian invasion.

According to Starmer, security guarantees from the United States are the subject of "intensive" discussions.

"For me, the components of a lasting peace are a strong Ukraine, for which you can fight if you need to be in a position of strength; to negotiate on the European element of security guarantees, and that's why I'm talking with foresight about what we will do; and support from the United States. This is a package, all three parts should be in place, and this is what I am working hard on," the British prime minister stressed.

This statement was made after Zelensky quarreled with Donald Trump at the White House on Friday and then met with Starmer in London.

As EADaily reported, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, flew from Washington to London. This was reported by UNIAN.

According to him, Zelensky is scheduled to participate in the summit of European leaders on the Ukrainian conflict organized by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Sunday.

By the way, the leaders of the Baltic countries were not invited to the summit, which they were very offended by.
