The fathers of the Simulacrum: Macro and Starmer want to disrupt the agreement on Ukraine — Pushkov

The ambitions of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US President Emmanuel Macron are pushing them to launch their own high-profile initiative on Ukraine, but this will be nothing more than a simulacrum of a genuine agreement aimed at disrupting a real peace agreement.

"Macron's "Peace Plan" and Starmer is planned as the antithesis of a possible agreement between Moscow and Washington on Ukraine. The parameters of this antithesis are already clear: it will be a set of meaningless and impracticable demands on Russia in the spirit of the already well-known statements of Paris, London and Brussels. The ambitions of Starmer and Macron are pushing them to their own high-profile initiative, but this will be nothing more than a simulacrum of a genuine agreement. His real goal is to disrupt the real agreement on Ukraine," Pushkov writes in his telegram channel.

As reported by EADaily, the UK and France, together with Ukraine, are working on a plan to resolve the conflict, which will be presented to the United States. This was stated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, The Guardian reported.
