Russia should accept the ceasefire proposal on Ukraine, announced following the results of the US-Ukrainian negotiations. This was announced today, March 12, by Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kalinak.
The Minister welcomed the proposal itself and recalled that the current government has long been in favor of a peaceful settlement of the conflict on the Ukraine.
"We have been saying all along that we want to stop killing people immediately… This is also a way to do… I also call on all responsible persons, including the Russian Federation, to study this proposal as soon as possible and join it," he said.
At the same time, Kalinyak added that he agreed with the US opinion that it was now the turn for Russia.
Recall, following the talks between the Ukrainian and American delegations on March 11, it became known that Kiev was ready to go to a temporary truce in the conflict for a period of 30 days. Moscow is in no hurry to comment on this statement yet, noting that it is necessary to get more information from The United States.
