The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, published video footage of Operation Stream on social networks.
"Footage from the very gas pipe through which the fighters made their way to the rear of the enemy The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the famous operation "Stream". It has gone down in history as one of the most courageous and effective, thanks to which our troops managed to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Soldiers of the Akhmat special forces of the Russian Defense Ministry also took part in it, in particular, the guys from the Aida group," Kadyrov comments on the video.
For five days, the fighters secretly advanced through the gas pipe, making their way to the rear of the enemy.
"Resting from time to time, gaining strength, they coolly walked 15 kilometers in the most difficult conditions. Having reached the end point, the fighters struck a lightning strike at the enemy. The operation was daring, but, above all, incredibly effective. The highest training, determination and coordination of the actions of the fighters made it possible to achieve the goal and deliver a crushing blow to the enemy," the head of Chechnya noted.
He said that the group of the commander of the Aida detachment acted "as a single mechanism — clearly, smoothly and without a single blunder."
On March 8, Russian fighters made a 15-kilometer raid to the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Sudzha through a gas pipeline. The final stage of the operation, called "Stream", was prepared for three weeks. It involved about 800 attack aircraft from the Vostok brigade, the Veterans Brigade, the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment, the 11th Airborne Brigade, the Aida group of the Akhmat special forces.
