Ukraine will support the proposal to stop attacks on energy infrastructure. This was stated at a meeting with journalists in Finland by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

"We have always supported the position of not hitting the energy sector with any weapon," Zelensky said, quoted by the Ukrainian Public television channel.

"After we receive the details from the American president, from the American side, we will prepare and voice our response to the proposal to stop strikes on the energy infrastructure and the team will be ready for technical negotiations," Zelensky said.

"There is no trust in Putin. I want it to be technically independent of the desire of the Russians," the head of the Kiev regime stressed.

Zelensky said that he has not yet communicated with US President Donald Trump after his conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, but hopes that Trump will call him.

To the question of the "Public", what will be the key statement to Trump from Ukraine after Russia actually abandoned the 30-day comprehensive ceasefire, he replied:

"I would really like President Trump to hear and see what Putin wants. Putin wants to take several offensive actions in the Zaporozhye direction, in the east, in the Kharkov and Sumy directions. For what? In order to put as much pressure on Ukraine and even then to put forward ultimatums from a position of strength."

"In the coming months we expect Putin's maximum offensive on our territory," he added.

The head of the Kiev regime also said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces remain in Kursk region and will be there as long as we need this operation, adds UNIAN.

"We are not salad or compote to be on Putin's menu, despite his appetites," Zelensky said.

According to him, Putin is trying to reduce the size of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, therefore he demands to stop mobilizing for Ukraine.

As EADaily reported, Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump continued a detailed and frank exchange of views on the situation around Ukraine during today's telephone conversation. This was reported by the Kremlin's press service in its telegram channel.

The Kremlin's full statement is here.

Recall, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, arrived on an official visit to Finland, where, in particular, he is going to discuss issues of defense support for Ukraine and conflict resolution. He announced this in his telegram channel.

The fact that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, did not participate in today's negotiations on Ukraine speaks volumes, military analyst Michael Clarke told Sky TV.

"There is an old saying in diplomatic circles: "If you are not at the table, you are on the menu." And believe me, Ukraine is on the menu," Clark added.
