For what purpose does the chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan Kamchibek Tashiev fly to the UK so often? This question interests many citizens of the republic. Journalist Oturbek Rakhmanov reported on the next visit of the head of the Kyrgyz special service.
According to his information, Tashiev, who is also the president of the National Football Union, held talks on possible cooperation with the management of Aston Villa football club, which plays in the English Premier League, during his visit to Foggy Albion.
According to the journalist, the meeting discussed issues of training and advanced training of the coaching staff of Kyrgyzstan with the participation of specialists of the Aston Villa club, exchange of experience in the development of youth and children's football, organization of joint training camps and friendly matches with the participation of Kyrgyz clubs, as well as exchange programs for future Kyrgyz football players, including internships of domestic specialists in club academies.
According to Rakhmanov, the management of the English club noted the high potential of Kyrgyz football. The parties agreed to strengthen sports ties between Kyrgyzstan and the UK.
A number of Kyrgyz media outlets indicate that this is not Tashiev's first visit to the UK in the last few years. They also remind that at one time he worked in the team of the ex-president of the republic Kurmanbek Bakiyev, whose son, Maxim Bakiyev, was sentenced to life imprisonment in his homeland and currently lives in London.
