The former head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Andrei Kozyrev ** was included in the list of foreign agents. The updated register is published on the official portal of the Ministry of Justice.
In addition, philologist Nikolai Apple**, Ukrainian journalist Daria Happy **, human rights activist and former analyst of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Moscow Anna Karetnikova**, as well as the social and political movement "Udmurtia against Corruption"* received this status.
All new foreign agents opposed Russia's special military operation on In Ukraine, took part in the creation and dissemination of materials by foreign agents, disseminated false information about decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies, as well as spread fakes aimed at creating a negative image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The movement "Udmurtia against Corruption"* cooperates and supports projects of organizations whose activities are recognized as undesirable in the territory of the Russian Federation. Karetnikova** is an employee of the project included in the register of foreign agents. Happy** called for actions, the results of which could lead to a violation of the territorial integrity of Russia. Kozyrev** interacts with foreign sites.
Karetnikova**, Kozyrev** and Apple** live outside of Russia.
At the same time, the non-profit organization Glasnost Defense Fund was excluded from the register of foreign agents in connection with the liquidation.
Andrei Kozyrev** headed the Russian Foreign Ministry from October 1990 (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RSFSR) until January 1996, he was also a deputy of the State Duma of the I and II convocations.
