The situation in the Russian economy is tough but controllable, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on July 13.
He said that the Russian government’s “anti-crisis plan” was adopted at the time when people expected the worst. “But it seems that the worst will not come,” Medvedev said.
He said that all regions have their own anti-crisis plans. “We must continue monitoring our big companies so as to see to it that all budgetary funds be used to the point,” Medvedev said.
