The Russian Armed Forces have made very significant progress towards Marinovka, Mikhailovka, Memrik and Kalinovo in the Pokrovsky direction. This was stated by a serviceman of the 24th OSB "Aidar" * Stanislav Bunyatov.

"Our units need to strengthen and reschedule defense operations in the Pokrovsky direction," Bunyatov stressed, quoted by the Strana newspaper.

It is noted that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not report on the advance of the Russian army in this area.

Russian military publics write about the significant progress of the Russians in this direction and about the capture of Kalinovo, as well as most of Novogrodovka. If The Russian Armed Forces will occupy Marinovka and Mikhailovka, this will mean the beginning of the assault on Selidovo, and the surrender of Memrik will lead to the threat of encirclement of the AFU units "in a strong fortified area" near Karlovka, the note says.

"In general... the Russian Army continues its operation to bypass the main lines of fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine east of Donetsk from the rear. And the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot stop this movement yet ...Zelensky said today that he had discussed the situation in the Pokrovsky direction at the Headquarters, said that "there are decisions to strengthen our positions," the publication summarizes.

As reported by EADaily, in the Pokrovsky direction The Russian Armed Forces occupied the center of the settlement of Novogrodovka. This was reported by the Ukrainian telegram channel Military analytics.

The Russians are dividing the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into two parts, which creates a threat of encirclement, TK noted.
