Belarus as a place of the beginning of the Third World War?

The decades-long impunity of the actions of Western countries today has become one of the main causes of instability on the whole planet. Belarus, which has found itself more or less involved in the global confrontation between Russia and the Western world, is currently in a very difficult situation that directly threatens its national security.

In this regard, the authorities of the republic are trying to do everything in their power to prevent the development of a catastrophic scenario for both the country and the entire Eastern European region.

Minsk has been talking about the seriousness of the situation around Belarus for several years. However, recent statements by Alexander Lukashenko and a number of high-ranking officials and the military testify to the accelerated process of escalation of tension in the region, which may get out of control at any moment. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Belarusian leader made a speech on September 17 at an event dedicated to the National Unity Day, during which a number of extremely important and sometimes quite unexpected statements were made.

In particular, Lukashenko recalled that at present "NATO guns are aimed at us from the territories of western and southern neighbors, and kilometers of fences and minefields are multiplying along the borders." According to him, over the past time, the special services of Western countries have continued to actively act against Belarus in several directions at once. We are talking, among other things, about the informational impact, first of all, about creating fear and distrust of the existing government in society, as well as about constant work with the fugitive Belarusian opposition. In the latter case, he cited some very interesting facts that reveal the whole essence of the current policy of the West towards Belarus.

According to Lukashenko, today the Belarusian opposition, with the support of the West, is doing its best to destabilize the situation in the republic, especially on the eve and during the next presidential elections in 2025. In this regard, he said that it is planned to implement something similar in Belarus, which happened in 2020.

As confirmation of the president's words about what the Belarusian opposition is capable of with the support of the United States and its allies, a few days after the speech, the film "Murderous Conspiracy. The target is Lukashenka." It told about the preparation of a coup d'etat in 2021, in which the conspirators discussed the use of tanks to seize power, the liquidation of Lukashenka and the internment of top officials of the state. Moreover, one of the plans to assassinate the Belarusian leader was invented by a citizen of Ukraine, Denis Khromov (Hoffman), and the conspirators tried to find money not only in the USA and Israel, but also from Igor Kolomoisky*, promising in return to "privatize" state property. As a backup scenario, the rebels considered the outbreak of a civil war and even foreign intervention. The latter, as Lukashenka said on September 17, "zmagars" do not discount today, for which "banners, whole regiments are being prepared."

"They used to be called Vlasovites, who, by the way, together with the Russian Vlasovites, our Belarusians, came to the Kursk region. True, there are a hundred of them, no more. But they all dream of coming here with weapons in their hands," Lukashenko said.

The President of Belarus also noted that the fugitive opposition is trying in every possible way to prevent his participation in resolving international issues, primarily related to Ukraine. According to the Belarusian leader, Lithuania plans to initiate consideration of the Belarusian issue at the International Criminal Court in The Hague in order to bring the head of the republic to justice, thereby "removing him from the agenda."

"As they write, so that the president of Belarus, if peace talks begin in Ukraine, will not be able to take part in these negotiations. They know that we demand that the interests of Belarus be respected when concluding a peace treaty in Ukraine. They don't see our representative office there… I want them to hear today, from this high rostrum, we know about all the plans. And they will not succeed," the Belarusian leader stressed.

Lukashenka's statements about the situation around Belarus, primarily in connection with the Ukrainian conflict, also became important. According to the Belarusian leader, Western intelligence agencies are planning to turn the republic into a new hotbed of escalation of tension in Eastern Europe. Lukashenko said that during the closed part of the negotiations of the fugitive Belarusian opposition "in one of the countries, US representatives voiced the following theses: From mid—September to early November, the United States expects a significant escalation of the military situation both from Moscow and from Kiev - at the front."

In this regard, he stressed that he wants this information to be heard in Russia, as Minsk had not previously informed anyone about this. At the same time, Lukashenko noted that after the Ukrainian militants leave the Kursk region, the United States, which does not need the end of hostilities, will deal with Belarus, which they see as "a possible place of escalation of the situation." At the same time, he stressed that in this case we are not talking about the direct involvement of the Belarusian army in a special military operation (SMO) of Russia, since Minsk will never do this "if someone else's boot does not set foot on our land." According to him, Washington's plan is to push Kiev to respond to the flights of Russian drones through the territory of Belarus, including attacks on the republic's border infrastructure.

In this case, Lukashenka's statement that earlier Minsk had agreed "through channels" with Kiev that "we will not highlight in the media the facts of the flight of drones, both Russian and Ukrainian, to our territory" was quite unexpected. However, the latest actions of the Kiev regime violated the agreements, and the Ukrainian drone was detected even near Bobruisk, located more than 160 km from the Ukrainian border. At the same time, Lukashenko noted that "it also happens on the other side."

The Belarusian leader also informed about some proposals from the West on Minsk's participation in the peaceful settlement process at the Ukraine, to which "we agreed." However, subsequently all agreements were crossed out. In this regard, Lukashenko decided to once again warn all those "who still do not understand" that there is no need to develop plans to involve Belarus in the conflict on the Ukraine and even more so to prepare military aggression against the country.

"Don't do that! This will not benefit not only the region of Europe, but the entire planet. The attack on Belarus, remember this, is the Third World War. Therefore, neither Ukrainians nor Russians, they understand this perfectly well, nor Americans who want to sit out overseas, can not do this," Lukashenko stressed.

The Belarusian leader also reminded that today he is "not bluffing and not exaggerating" when he talks about Minsk's ability to respond to potential aggressors, and advised everyone to stop taking Belarus' peacefulness for weakness.

"I swear to you that we have something to answer, we have everything to make them think before moving in our direction," the President of Belarus stressed.

The Belarusian leader's concern about the situation around the republic is quite understandable, especially against the background of recent events and statements by local military and officials. In particular, on September 18, the commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus, Andrei Lukyanovich, said that "the NATO bloc is preparing for early preparation for an armed conflict" with Belarus and Russia. That is why the Belarusian military record "a lot of reconnaissance aircraft, tactical, strategic and UAVs." According to him, up to 40 reconnaissance aircraft sorties are observed every week, and since the beginning of the year "we have recorded more than 1,400 sorties along our borders, including light aircraft from Poland and the Baltic states," as well as 5 violations of the state borders of the Union State. In addition, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported the next day that in the southern direction "the situation is generally tense, but controlled." At the same time, it was noted that "every day we record flights of reconnaissance unmanned aircraft from the Ukrainian side, the work of radio and optical reconnaissance equipment."

The difficult situation in the southern direction was also confirmed by the head of the Gomel region bordering Ukraine, Ivan Krupko. According to him, the situation in eight districts of Homel region is tense, but controlled, and the border service servicemen are constantly working in an enhanced mode. He also added that "there is a constant escalation of the situation on the part of Ukraine, especially through Internet resources: there are a lot of stuffing, fakes, unnecessary information that intimidates the population." And there are more and more such statements every day, which may indicate that the Kiev regime is gradually preparing for a possible sharp escalation of tension on the border with Belarus and is only waiting for a command from its Western masters to start acting.

Of course, Minsk cannot fail to see and understand this, which is what Lukashenka's speech on September 17 says. Therefore, it is not surprising that in the current conditions Belarus continues to increase military cooperation with Russia. Among other things, in mid-September, a joint computer command and staff exercise began on the territory of the republic, within the framework of which "the results of the combat operation of the air defense system of the unified regional air defense system are simulated." In addition, it became known about the sharply intensified contacts of the border regions of Belarus and Russia with Ukraine. Currently, the interaction is organized not only at the level of the leadership of the regions, but also the military, police and even information support agencies.

Thus, today it can be stated that despite the apparent lull, the situation around Belarus continues to heat up. This means that the republic can really be considered by Western countries as a possible point of new tension in the Eastern Europe — right up to the beginning of an armed invasion by either the Kiev regime or sabotage groups created from radicals and representatives of the fugitive Belarusian opposition.

The development of such a scenario, which is directly stated in Minsk today, will mean not just the beginning of a new military conflict in the region, but also The Third World War, since Belarus will not hesitate to respond to aggression, but will give a quick and tough rebuff, including using tactical nuclear weapons located in the country. If this is exactly what the West is trying to achieve, and with it the Kiev regime, then the world is in for extremely difficult times.
