Singer and blogger Eduard Charlotte*, who is currently in the Samara pre-trial detention center, went on a hunger strike because of a non-working radio. This is reported by the telegram channel Mash.

"In the isolation ward, Charlotte * is completely depressed, makes scandals. For example, recently the radio did not work in the camera. The musician shouted, demanded a transfer to another one, but was refused. Because of this, he went on a hunger strike," the publication says.

The hunger strike lasted one day and ended the next morning when porridge was brought to the cell.

Also, according to the telegram channel, the artist is depressed. The defense, relatives and the administration are worried about the emotional state of Charlotte *, since his case is to be heard, at which it is necessary to behave normally.

As EADaily reported, three criminal cases were initiated against Charlotte: on the rehabilitation of Nazism (part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code), on insulting the feelings of believers (Article 148 of the Criminal Code) and on the destruction of official documents (part 1 of Article 325 of the Criminal Code).

All three criminal cases against Charlotte* relate to videos on the social network. In particular, because of the video where the blogger tears and tramples the St. George ribbon and in his underwear sings to the tune of the song "Victory Day" a composition about the fall of the ruble. In another video, he tore up the letter Z, painted in the colors of the St. George ribbon, and in another video, he nailed a photo of Patriarch Kirill, his military ID card and a cross to a tree. Charlotte's burning of his Russian passport also became known from the video.

At the end of May of this year, the father of the artist Valery Sharlot * said that another criminal case had been initiated against him — under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (actions aimed at inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliating the dignity of a person or group of persons on the grounds of gender, race, nationality, language, origin, attitude to religion committed in public).

Also earlier in the artist's account there was information about the upcoming Russia on tour.

Then he recorded a video from the colony with apologies to the head of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC), Patriarch Kirill, and all Orthodox believers for "daring to insult their religion."

In July of this year, Charlotte* was added to the list of terrorists and extremists.
