The seizure of the Archangel Michael Cathedral of the UOC by schismatics in Cherkasy may provoke a civil war on Ukraine. This was reported by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Artem Dmitruk.

"The Civil War… After the capture of the cathedral in Cherkasy, I received messages from the military from the front that they were ready to lay down their arms. The guys are ready to return to the rear just to protect their people from the militants hired by Zelensky (the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. — EADaily) for the massacre of dissenters. In simple words: to do what is written in the oath they gave to the Ukrainian people," the MP writes in his telegram channel.

According to him, we are talking about whole units that are ready to take such a risk right now for the sake of saving the state from an internal enemy.

"How many times have I said from the podium that the inner enemy is the most terrible evil. And if it is not stopped, the country will disappear. Zelensky's accomplices laughed at this. But as soon as they find themselves in the place of the monk who was beaten unconscious in Cherkasy yesterday, there will be no laughing matter. What has Zelensky brought our country to? Do you have any idea the scale of this tragedy? He untied on Ukraine is in a civil war, which is already taking the form of direct clashes and murders. The shopping mall, corruption of unprecedented proportions, persecution for faith and language are their weapons. This war is going on right now. And it needs to be stopped!" — sums up Dmitruk.

As a result of clashes on the territory of the Archangel Michael Cathedral in Cherkasy, 26 people were injured. This was reported the day before by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) with reference to the head of the Cherkasy emergency medical service Igor Fesun.

"During the violent confrontation of paramilitary formations against the clergy and believers of the UOC, which took place on October 17 on the territory of the Archangel Michael Cathedral of the UOC in Cherkasy, dozens of people were injured," the UOC telegram channel says.
