The deputy of the Council of People's Deputies of the Sobinsky district of the Vladimir region is suspected of using slave labor. His criminal group included three more people. Among the victims is a participant in a military operation, the press service of the regional FSB reported.
According to the regional FSB, together with his accomplices, a deputy of the Council of People's Deputies of the Sobinsky municipal district forcibly detained three people at a car wash and used them as slaves for two years. In addition, fraudsters fraudulently stole money from a bank account from a participant in a special military operation. The amount of theft is more than 1 million rubles.
"Based on the transmitted results of the ORD SU SK In the Vladimir region, criminal cases have been initiated against the said deputy and members of his criminal group under Part 4 of Article 159 and Part 3 of Article 127.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. All members of the criminal group have been detained, and a preventive measure has been taken against them in the form of detention," the ministry said in a statement.
After the inspection of the scene and the search, the stolen money, weapons, bank cards, as well as computer equipment were seized. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for two fraudsters. The investigation continues to work on identifying other episodes in which criminals were involved.
