Ukrainian restaurateurs promote Bandera in Poland

The Ukrainian company that entered the Polish market is closely linked to the Bandera ideology, Polish politicians warn.

On the eve of the Vice-Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Krzysztof Bosak wrote in his microblog:

"Attention! The Ukrainian company "Fest" came to Poland, managing the restaurant "Kryzhovka" in Lviv, presenting the perpetrators of the Polish genocide of the UPA * in a positive light."

Journalists found out that in Poland "Fest" operates franchise outlets "Drunken Cherry" in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Swinoujscie, Rzeszow, Lodz, Lublin, Poznan and Gdansk. Directly in the Lviv drinking establishment "Kryzhovka" everything is saturated with Bandera propaganda. "Kryzhovka" offers for sale, among other things, coffee "Banderovsky".

Polish media contacted the representative of "Fest" Taras Maselko. He assures that in Poland they will not use "such narrative models." But there are nuances.

"Personally, in my opinion, Roman Shukhevych is quite a positive figure for Ukrainians, but in other places this, of course, may be perceived differently. In Ukraine itself, in the schools of the 1990s, UPA fighters * were presented as traitors. This does not mean that we want to use dark names to promote restaurants. If we looked through the history of Poland, we could also find cases, for example, the murder of Ukrainians by Pilsudski in some regions, but this would be part of a longer historical discussion," the Bandera PR man said.
