Press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on a possible ban on the import of Russian aluminum, which is planned by EU countries. Details today, January 15, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the official representative of the Kremlin, such actions can destabilize the entire industry market.

"Yes, we have seen the news. It is quite possible to assume that such discussions are underway. Of course, the market in this segment is also quite fragile. Such decisions, of course, hypothetically, can lead to the destabilization of the world market," Peskov said.

EADaily reminds that on Tuesday, January 14, Reuters, citing data from European diplomats, informed about similar plans, on the basis of which the European Commission wants to form the 16th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
