The public attack by US President Donald Trump on the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, was preceded by a growing sense of disappointment in the White House with the latter's actions. This is reported by CNN, citing sources.

Recently, Trump's aides have been closely following Zelensky's public statements, in particular his criticism of the United States, which excluded Ukraine from talks with Russian officials in Saudi Arabia this week.

According to sources, disappointment was growing even before Wednesday, when Trump broke out with a post that Zelensky was a dictator. But disappointment poured into the storm of events after Zelensky told reporters at his office in In Kiev, Trump lives in a "web of disinformation."

Trump privately told aides who were with him in Florida that he wanted to respond directly, which led to his post on Truth Social, an informed official said.

"It's a disappointment. There is a strong and legitimate feeling that this brutal war must stop and that this path is complicated because of Zelensky's public statements," another White House official told CNN.

As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, failed in his mission: his country has been destroyed, millions of people have died in vain — and all this continues. This was stated by US President Donald Trump.
