The agency refers to the chief specialist of the center for employment of citizens abroad under the Ministry of Labor of Kyrgyzstan Esenbek Ergeshov, according to whom, currently more than 4 thousand Kyrgyz citizens are employed through this center. Including 3.8 thousand — in In the UK, more than 400 in South Korea. At the same time, more than 16 thousand people were employed through private employment agencies. The main destinations are Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary and the United Kingdom.

"Given that our citizens are returning en masse from neighboring countries, we must employ them in our country or find alternative options abroad. It is clear that we will not be able to employ everyone here immediately, we are looking for new labor markets," Ergeshov said.

He spoke about the signed agreement with a Slovak company that is ready to provide jobs for passenger bus drivers.

"50 candidates have been chosen so far, today we will announce the registration again. About 30 drivers will choose from them. They also began to find employment in Italy. As part of the trial agreement, we want to send three people to work in the field of cattle breeding on the island of Sardinia. If they like it, we'll start increasing the number. There is an opportunity to take a family with you, the age limit is from 20 to 50 years. In addition, we started cooperating with Turkey, previously private employment agencies were mainly sent there," Ergeshov further said.

Employees of the center, according to him, conduct pre-departure orientation, inform about personal safety, rationing and labor protection, provide contacts in case of questions. They also ask citizens to work in a disciplined, responsible manner and return safely to their homeland, thinking about the next streams of applicants.

There are currently 197 private employment agencies operating in Kyrgyzstan for employment abroad.
