This is a "deal with the devil": young contract soldiers in the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not live to see the payments — senator

Young men aged 18-25 who agree to sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not even have time to receive the promised millions of hryvnias or other awards, because they simply will not live to see this moment. This was stated by a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs — former DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.

Earlier, military expert Andriy Marochko said that Vladimir Zelensky is trying to make up for the high losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by luring young people under the age of 25 to a contract with the Ukrainian army, they are promised 1 million hryvnia. At the same time, they will receive funds in the form of bonds without content, for which payments will be made only at the end of the contract.

"Given the recent news, the Kiev regime is probably set to mobilize "to the last Ukrainian." So, special conditions will be offered for contract employees aged 18 to 25 years: one million hryvnia per year, mortgage benefits, and so on. It sounds quite attractive until you dive into the details of this "deal with the devil." Will there be those who, having fulfilled all the conditions of the contract, will live to receive all these bonuses? I doubt it very much. This is just a mean and cynical deception, all in the spirit of the Kiev regime," Nikonorova told TASS.

The senator drew attention to how indicative is the reaction in the world to the behavior of employees of Ukrainian Territorial recruitment centers (TCCs, an analogue of Russian military enlistment offices). In particular, Trump Jr. in social networks called "pure evil" a series of videos with violent mobilization on Ukraine, Vice President of the USA Jay D. At a meeting with Zelensky in the Oval Office on February 28, Vance spoke out against forced mobilization.

"We see from a lot of news that the mobilization of Ukraine is a continuous, daily and even hourly process. The Kiev regime deliberately and systematically sends the young and able-bodied male population to slaughter, instead of soberly assessing its strength. After all, the successful offensive actions of our troops will continue. And neither the number of mercenaries in the ranks of the armed formations of Ukraine, nor the attempts of the Kiev regime to increase the pace of mobilization will have a significant impact on this," Nikanorova stressed.

As reported, Ukraine is increasingly raising the issue of lowering the mobilization age to 18, which, for example, the United States insists on. According to the non-factional deputy Artem Dmytruk, the relevant bill has already been developed, and Zelensky's office throws the topic of mobilization into the information space from the age of 18 to check the reaction of the population. The authorities have already lowered the age of mobilization: until April 2024, men from 27 to 60 years old were subject to conscription, and now from 25. At the same time, the Ukrainian army continues to experience a shortage of personnel.
