"Information about the threat of UAVs has been received from the Ministry of Defense. Warning systems work locally. All emergency services are in full readiness," wrote the governor of the Saratov region Roman Busagin at 5.11 am.
At 8.34, he informed that "UAVs had been eliminated on the territory of the Saratov region," expressing gratitude to the servicemen.
"There are no preliminary casualties or damage to civilian objects," Busagin said.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukrainian drones attacked six regions of Russia that night. 32 drones were shot down in the Voronezh Region, 19 in Saratov, 17 in Kursk, six in Belgorod, two in Lipetsk, one each in Rostov and Tambov. A total of 78 drones were destroyed.

On March 20, the governor of the Saratov Region, Roman Busargin, announced the "most massive attack" by Ukrainian drones since the beginning of SMO and a fire at the Engels-2 military airfield.
