A huge funnel was found in a field near a gas distribution station in the Tula region. Previously, a Ukrainian S-200 missile could have fallen there, the Baza telegram channel reported.

"Local residents reported to the operational services about a loud "clap" that they heard at about 5 a.m. in the Efremovsky district of the region. A few hours later, during a walk in the field, a funnel with a diameter of about 50 meters was discovered. According to one version, a rocket could have fallen there (presumably, the S-200), but this information has not been officially confirmed,"writes the "Base".

Now operational services officers and sappers are working on the site.

The Mash telegram channel also informs that the Ukrainian S-200u missile was shot down in the sky over the Tula region.

"Previously, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack the infrastructure of the Tula— Shostka—Kiev gas pipeline. Against the background of the process of extending the fuel transit agreement to the EU, which Kiev really does not want to fulfill, but is forced because of pressure," the TC said.

According to him, the Soviet 10-meter Angara rocket, converted by Ukrainians, fell not far from the gas main. Previously, there were no infrastructure damage or casualties as a result of the incident.

At the end of 2024, the contract for the transit of natural fuel between Moscow and Kiev expires. The last agreement was signed in 2019. Then the Russian Federation and the former Soviet Republic signed a package of documents on the settlement of litigation and mutual claims between the implementing companies. According to the terms, Russia pumped at least 225 billion cubic meters of natural gas through Ukraine, recalls Mash.
