Belarusian mineral fertilizers in the first 6 months of 2024 were in the leading positions on the Polish market. This is evidenced by the information of the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland.
It is reported that the share of Belarusian mineral fertilizers (nitrogen, potash and combined) in the Polish market in January — June 2024 amounted to 6.9%. This is the fourth indicator after Russia (29.2%), Germany (20.8%) and Lithuania (7.6%). Belarus is followed by Morocco (4.9%) and the Netherlands (4.1%).
In particular, Belarus was in third place in terms of supplies to Poland uses nitrogen fertilizers, second only to Russia and Germany and ahead of Lithuania, Algeria, Hungary, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan and Nigeria. Combined fertilizers took the 6th position in the Polish market, losing to Morocco, Russia, Finland, the Netherlands and Lithuania, but ahead of Norway. At the same time, potash fertilizers, according to official information, did not arrive in Poland.
