The Wall Street Jounral newspaper (WSJ) incorrectly interpreted the words of the US vice President about the possibility of sending the US military to Ukraine. About this JD Vance stated on his page in the social network X.

This situation is absurd, Vance noted. According to him, US military personnel should not be in conflict zones unless the interests of the country and its security require it.

"And this war is only between Russia and Ukraine," said Vance, quoted by <url>.

Vice President of the USA Jay Dee In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Vance did not talk about the possibility of sending the American military contingent to Vance's representative William Martin also stated on his page in the social network X that he had not expressed threats against Russia.

"The vice President did not make any threats. He simply stated the fact that no one is going to deprive the president [of the United States Donald] Trump has the opportunity to choose when these negotiations will begin," writes Martin, quoted by RBC.

Martin called the WSJ filing a fake.

As reported by EADaily, the American administration represented by US Vice President Jay Dee Vance voiced "military and economic levers of pressure" on Russia if Russian President Vladimir Putin does not fulfill the conditions of the head of the White House Donald Trump — he will not agree to a truce with Kiev. This was stated by Vance in an interview with the Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

He noted that the option of sending American servicemen to Ukraine "remains under consideration" by Washington in case Moscow refuses to resolve the conflict.
