Continuation of hostilities and "theatrical" negotiations: the situation on the fronts

Against the background of Donald Trump's pretentious statements regarding the alleged "progress" in the negotiation process on Ukraine, Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth announced a multiple expansion of the US Armed Forces contingent in Poland, and on The Kaliningrad direction was advanced by the ARTEMIS reconnaissance aircraft of the US Air Force. In the SMO zone, active hostilities are not slowing down, which is significant.

The most effective directions are still Velikonovoselskoye, Andreyevskoye (west of Kurakhovo) and Krasnoarmeyskoye directions. So, by the evening of February 14, 2025, the assault platoon tactical units of the Vostok group of forces were able to knock out the formations of the 31st mechanized Brigade, the 122nd Air Defense Brigade and the 141st separate mechanized brigade from a huge field fortified area 2.5 km northwest of Vremevka with a total area of 10 square kilometers.

This fortification is represented by a dense trench-dugout chain in the direction of Novoselka and Privolny (in the direction of Dnipropetrovsk region). More importantly, even after the liberation of Velikaya Novoselka, the Vostok artillery units did not reduce the intensity of the use of the latest 152-mm guided artillery shells ZOF95 Krasnopol-M2.

Now the targets are strongholds, armored vehicles, artillery and electronic warfare systems in the rear areas of the enemy near the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region. At the beginning of this week, the target was the position (and probably the ejection installation) for launching the UAV of the 141st separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlement of Privolnoye. Krasnopol-M2 was used at a distance of 12 to 17 km with a maximum range of 2A65 — 27 — 29 km guns. Also in this direction, the active use of shock FPV drones with fiber-optic control channels with a range of up to 15 km has begun.

The slow but steady displacement of the 79th, 46th, 79th and 33rd brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the "Dacha Pocket" continues in the Andreevsky direction. After the liberation of Dachny by the forces of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division, the attack aircraft of the 29th army were able to advance from Yantarny to the heights in the direction of the N-15 highway, occupying about 1.7 square meters. m of territory in this tactical "pocket".

North of the Volchya riverbed, the assault groups of the 114th Motorized Rifle Brigade were able to advance 1 km west of Andreevka in the direction of Alekseevka, throwing the formations of the 5th Assault and 152nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into the steppe fortifications. One of the most important steps in building up the counter-battery capabilities of the artillery units of the Russian army in the Andreevsky direction was the deployment of mobile calculations of improved 152-mm self-propelled guns "Malva", equipped not with standard 2A64 guns, but with higher-pulse 2A36 guns from Hyacinth-B howitzers, near Kurakhovo. The updated self-propelled guns received the index 2C44 "Hyacinth—K" (K - "wheeled"). These ACS provide Krasnopol-M2 shells with a range of 37 km.

Nevertheless, there is also a very problematic segment on the western outskirts of Andreevka, where the AFU formations are attempting to reach one of the platoon tactical units of the 114th Motorized Rifle Brigade into a mini-boiler, pressing a logistical loophole along Lenin Street to the Orlov riverbed. This creates noticeable difficulties in the supply of strongholds recently occupied by Russian units.

In various segments of the Dzerzhinsky direction, the initiative remains in the hands of the units of the Russian army. One of them is the Tarasovsky segment in the area near the bed of the Bychok River and a major road fork on the T-0504 highway. Here the attack aircraft of the GRV "South" managed to advance from Baranovka to the Green Field and Tarasovka, which made it possible to throw back units of the 111th separate brigade of the Ukrainian Air Defense from a bridgehead of 5 square kilometers and occupy a Green Field. Offensive actions are continuing in the direction of Alexandropol.

Under Dzerzhinsky, active offensive actions are not recorded. Rotational activities and regrouping are being carried out before the formation of a fresh offensive bridgehead. The work of barrel and rocket artillery is mainly observed. In particular, the 122-mm self-propelled gun 2S1 Gvozdika battery of the 51st Army of the GRV South deployed near the liberated Dzerzhinsk is suppressing fortifications and shelters already on the In the Konstantinovsky operational direction (including the village and the village of Dyleevka), the offensive actions of the assault groups of the South group of forces will continue.

The calculation uses high-explosive fragmentation shells ZOF24 and ZOF56 with a range of 15200 m, but if necessary, it can use the Kitolov-2M UAS with a circular probable deviation of about 1 m, as well as Chinese active-reactive shells with bottom-pressurized gas generators ERBB 122 HB.

On the Kursk Front, by February 11, the airborne assault platoon tactical units of the 106th Tula Airborne Forces were able to oust the AFU formations from a number of fortifications in the western part of the village of Sverdlikovo. Tula paratroopers, having advanced from the commanding hills near Darino, launched an assault on Sverdlikovo with the fire support of BMD-4M, BMP-3 and BMD-2/M crews two days earlier. On February 12, a confrontation was recorded over forest plantations in the area of the Loknya riverbed and for The House of culture of Sverdlikovo, and already on February 14, control was established over the entire settlement of Sverdlikovo. Moreover, the enemy was pushed back from the Loknya riverbed to landings near the water tower.

The situation near Makhnovka and Cherkasy Hemp remains quite complicated, the enemy is attempting to break into Fanseyevka and the Babino tract in order to attempt to reach the tactical cauldron of Cherkasy Hemp. Meanwhile, operators of FPV drones on fiber optic and tactical aviation are currently stopping these "body movements" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A similar situation of tactical "swings" persists under the Cellars, Malaya Loknya, and Cherkasy Transverse.
