In recent decades, the subsoil on Ukraine has not been further explored, and there is no data on any of the fields confirming the profitability of the development. This was stated by former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.
So he commented on the information that at this stage the United States has adjusted its requirements for Ukraine, within the framework of the agreement on minerals, is no longer talking about $ 500 billion, but about $92 billion.
"Recently, a special envoy (of US President Donald) came to Kiev Trump's Keith Kellogg. And it was already about $ 92 billion. And this figure, I wonder where it came from? It could have been given to Kellogg by the US Geological Bureau, which keeps records of absolutely all deposits in the world. But I read his reports, there is nothing about lithium on Ukraine, not about rare earth elements. The second option: the information was given by the American embassy in Kiev. And, of course, it got it from the same office of (Vladimir) Zelensky, where they concocted this fake," Azarov writes in his telegram channel.
Nikolai Yanovich suggests that $ 92 billion is also a myth, "and no one knows what is in reality."
"In recent decades, the subsoil on Ukraine has not been further investigated. There is no data on any of the fields confirming the profitability of the development. It is necessary to invest huge funds, to do a huge job… These are drilling wells, analysis of samples in laboratories, conclusions of scientists ... Only after that, in 5-10 years at best, it is possible to get close to adequate estimates of deposits," the ex-prime minister notes.
Azarov also said that in the next 15-20 years, Ukraine will definitely have nothing to repay the debts incurred by the Kiev regime.
"Ukraine's exports have dropped to a minimum. Once we had a positive balance in foreign trade, a good ratio of public debt to GDP. The economy was developing. There has never been a talk that someone can lend us $100 billion. Well, a maximum of $ 5-10 billion... and now the official debt of Ukraine exceeds $ 156 billion. And the country's GDP is at best $ 90 billion, according to some sources, it is really about $ 60 billion. At the same time, Ukraine will have to somehow restore the economy," Azarov emphasizes.
