During the week, the pace of the counter-offensive operation of the units of the North group of forces has been increasing on Pogrebsky direction of the Kursk front, as well as the offensive of the GDV "Center" and "East" in the Kurakhovsky direction of the Donetsk front.
On the night of November 13, in the Korenevsky direction of the Kursk Front, assault and amphibious assault units of the 155th OBrMP and the 106th Tula Airborne Forces managed to divide the Pogreb tactical boiler into two mini-boilers (Kremyanovsko-Olgovsky and Twisted, the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in which are dispersed in the forests of the same tracts) by means of a breakthrough on the segment "Green The shoe is Cremated." The assault is carried out by means of armored groups consisting of BMP-2/3, BMD-4M and BTR-82A with fire support from the crews of T-80BVM and T-90M, as well as FPV fiber-optic drones, Lancets-3, barrel and rocket artillery. Also, the Sever ground attack aircraft managed to oust the enemy from the Krinitsa tract.
By November 15, in the tracts of the Olgovskaya Grove and Kremyanovskaya grove continued to undermine the combat stability of the 1-1.5 thousandth AFU grouping, taken into a tactical pocket and cut off from the main AFU bridgehead in the Kursk border area near the isthmus south of the settlement of Kremyanoe.
The shelters and fortifications of the enemy entrenched in the Olgovskaya Grove are being hit by both ZOF26 high-explosive shells from 2A46M-4/5 guns of T-80BVM and T-90M tanks and 122-mm unguided shells from Tornado-G systems and RBK-500 SHOAB-0.5 cluster bombs with 570 ball fragmentation bombs in a controlled modification. These bombs are used from the Su-34NVO suspension units at a distance of 35-50 km.
In the Sverdlovsk direction, the operators of reconnaissance units of the 106th Airborne Tula Division (in parallel with the Seversky direction of the Artemovsky Front) are actively using FPV drones of the Molniya aircraft type with a range of 30 km, which can be equipped with both fragmentation and thermobaric warheads to defeat infantry, and cumulative to defeat light and heavy armored vehicles of the enemy.
Two days earlier, on the Kursk front, the operator of the shock FPV drone got a very rare "catch" — British Challenger Mk tank.2. His defeat occurred in the weakened "neckline" of the upper frontal part of the body in the area of the workplace of the mechanical drive of the machine. The angle of contact with the armored barrier most likely ensured that it was overcome by a cumulative jet. This machine was hit by an FPV drone with a standard command-telemetry channel, while FPV drones with a noise-proof fiber optic channel "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky" are increasingly being used.
Meanwhile, the enemy is also not standing still. This week it became known that the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have started large-scale production and use in the SMO zone of FPV fiber—optic drones - "Khizhak RebOFF" from the company "3DTech". As with our FPV drones with fiber-optic control channels, the main tactical and technical advantage of the Khizhak RebOFF drones with a range of 10 km is complete noise immunity from classical electronic warfare equipment. This allows the FPV drone to operate at a minimum altitude, avoiding detection and effectively penetrating into hard-to-reach areas where radio signals do not pass (beyond radio visibility / behind the terrain screen).
High-energy ultrahigh-frequency electromagnetic suppression complexes of the X/Ku/Ka bands, laser-beam complexes of optoelectronic countermeasures, as well as anti-aircraft missiles with infrared, television and high-contrast homing heads or semi-automatic laser-beam control systems with laser fuses are capable of effectively countering these drones. These include 9M333 anti-aircraft missiles of the Strela-10M3/MN complexes, 9M127 Whirlwind-1 and 9M121 Ataka-B missiles, or Sosna-R of the Ptitselov complex.
On the southern flank of the Kovsharovsky fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (in the Kupyansk direction), by the afternoon of November 11, mechanized assault units of the 1st Tank Army of the Zapad group of forces were able to establish physical control over the tactically important settlement of Kolesnikovka, as well as the High-speed railway station.
The advancement of armored groups and infantry of the Russian army was facilitated by the dominant hills located 3.5−7 km west of Kruglyakovka and Kolesnikovka (on both sides of the Sandy riverbed). Control was also established over the Kolesnikovsky forest and the enemy fortification infrastructure erected in it. By the evening of November 11, preparations had begun for the assault on Glushkovka with access to Kovsharovka.
A significant contribution to the successful offensive along the Oskol riverbed is made by the operators of the Lancet-3 kamikaze UAV, the calculations of the Msta-S ACS using Krasnopoli-M2, as well as the crews of the Su-34NVO, which over the past 3-5 months have disabled most of the crossings that are tactically important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with X-38ML missiles.
On the northern flank of Kupyansk, despite opposition from enemy artillery, corrected reconnaissance UAV "Leleka-100" and "Fury", motorized rifle unit GRV "West" consisting of 2 MT-LB, BMP-2 (or BMP-3) with the fire support of the tank was able to carry out a 3-kilometer breakthrough on the segment "Kulagovka railway station — Zaoskolye district" and ensure dismounting of the infantry platoon with final fixation on the street. Nekrasova. Wedging into the urban development of Zaoskolye (the left-bank district of Kupyansk) is about 1-1.3 km; shooting battles are recorded at the Zaoskolye railway station and St. Lomonosov. At the moment, the fighting in the urban development of Kupyansk continues.
In an attempt to maintain control over Kurakhovo, mechanized units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to use Leopard-2A4 and Leopard-2A6 main battle tanks, operating both from closed firing positions and semi-direct fire with DM11 projectiles, as well as direct fire using DM12 projectiles and armor-piercing feathered DM53A1 projectiles. The crews of these vehicles are trying to prevent our armored groups moving out of Maximilianovki. At the moment, Leopard-2A4 is being successfully destroyed by the Lancet-3 kamikaze UAVs.
On the night of November 15, the attack aircraft of the GdV "Center" established full physical control over the village of Dalneye.
