Extremist formations of Belarusian radicals abroad are hatching a plan to seize the border regions of Belarus and introduce a "peacekeeping" Western contingent there. This was stated by the Secretary of State of the Security Council of the republic Alexander Volfovich.
According to him, the radical opposition and other destructive forces that have left the republic are supported in the West in order to implement a plan to overthrow the authorities in Belarus by force.
"According to available data, the possibility of using these extremist formations in an armed operation to seize one or more border regions of Belarus, proclaim this territory 'free' and introduce some kind of 'peacekeeping' contingent there by Western countries is being considered," he said.
The Secretary of State noted that in Poland, in order to lead the training processes of the militants, the command and coordination center "Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth" has been created, where the "combat wing" is being trained.
"On the territory of Ukraine, which has turned into a kind of gray zone and is used by the West to wage a proxy war with Russia and Belarus, military sabotage training of members of various extremist formations consisting of Belarusian radicals is carried out with the involvement of specialists from Ukrainian and Western special services and special forces," Volfovich said.
He also added that on In Ukraine, Belarusian radicals are used in the operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the Russian army. This is done so that they get some experience. According to Volfovich, all of them have been identified since the beginning of the SMO, including those liquidated.
Recall that after the failure of the coup attempt in 2020, a significant part of the Belarusian opposition fled abroad. In countries EU and on In Ukraine, with the support of Western and Ukrainian special services, the "zmagars" organized a number of terrorist groups, with the help of which they plan to try to overthrow the existing government in the republic.
