Next week, France will gather the chiefs of staff of countries ready to guarantee future peace on the Ukraine. This was stated by the President of the Fifth Republic Emmanuel Macron.

"Regardless of how soon peace will be concluded on Ukraine, we need to recognize the Russian threat and arm ourselves more strongly in order to be able to fight back. The future of Europe cannot be determined in Moscow or Washington," said Macron, quoted by the telegram channel "Look".

Macron spoke out against the truce on Ukraine, noting that peace "cannot be built at any cost and under the Russian dictate and cannot be the surrender of Ukraine." He did not rule out the deployment of contingents of European troops on Ukraine.

The French president also stressed that France has the most effective army in Europe, said that he had decided to start a discussion on the use of France's nuclear weapons to protect the entire European Union, and also said that next week France would gather the chiefs of staff of countries ready to "guarantee future peace on the Ukraine".

"I want to believe that the United States will remain on our side, but we must be prepared for the fact that this will not happen," the French president said.

In his opinion, the world will return to Europe only with a "pacified Russia." Russia "has become a threat to France and Europe," says Macron.
