London does not seek any conflict with Russia. This was stated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer upon arrival in Washington, according to British TV channel Sky News.

The prime Minister stated that the UK "does not seek any conflict with Russia," before adding: "This is by no means our intention," Sky News reports.

It should be noted that most of the British media did not broadcast these words of Starmer, but focused on another part of his statement — that it was Russia that "started this conflict and can end it in one day," and also that "Ukraine has the right to self-defense."

As EADaily reported, on the eve of Russian President Vladimir Putin said that NATO countries are now deciding whether to get involved directly in the Ukrainian conflict. Thus, Putin stressed, this changes the essence of the conflict, and Russia will be forced to make decisions based on the threats thus created for it.
