The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, lied, commenting on his failed trip to Washington for the inauguration of the new US president Donald Trump.
This was stated in her Telegram channel by the official representative of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.
"Zelensky said he would not go to Trump's inauguration because he had business at home. Has the pipe burst?" she remarked ironically.
Thus, the speaker reacted to the statement of the "overdue" president that he would not go to Washington because he had a lot of things to do at home.
In this regard, the representative of the Russian diplomatic department recalled that in 2024 Zelensky visited more than 35 countries, and "household chores" did not bother him.
"The new Year has just begun, and in two weeks he has already had begging visits to Germany, Italy, Poland. And household chores did not become a hindrance again," Zakharova stressed.
According to her, the head of the Kiev regime "forgot to clarify" that he had asked three times to Washington, and he, as it turned out now, was refused.
Earlier, EADaily reported that US President-elect Donald Trump intends to end the conflict on Ukraine and make efforts to prevent the third World war, he said, speaking to supporters in Washington on the eve of the inauguration.
