American diplomats asked to exclude assistance to Ukraine from the order of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to freeze aid programs to other countries for 90 days, the Financial Times writes, citing documents and sources.
Representatives of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the State Department asked Rubio to cancel the order to employees of the Agency for International Development (USAID) responsible for helping Kiev to stop their work.
